Publishing a seated event
The extra checks a seated event must pass before it goes live — and how to clear each one.
Seated events publish in two stages: you publish the seat map (a layout check), and you publish the event (which also checks pricing).
Stage 1 — Publish the seat map
- The map has at least one seat.
- Every non-blocked seat has a zone assigned.
When it passes, Verimly sets capacity to the seat count and marks seating ready. Blocked seats are excluded from this check.
Stage 2 — Publish the event
Heads up
Every zone used on the map must have at least one active ticket type with an enabled matrix cell. If a zone has no sellable price, publishing is blocked with a pricing error.
Pre-flight checklist
- Every sellable seat has a zone color; seat map published.
- Each zone has ≥1 active ticket type priced (0 is fine; “Not for sale” is not).
- Ticket types you want on sale are active.
- Payments connected if any price is above 0.
Good to know
After publishing, the layout locks now that sales can happen — you can still edit prices, but not move seats.
