How buyers choose seats
The seated checkout explained — quantity first, then seat selection, with time-limited holds.
Understanding the buyer’s seated checkout helps you set expectations and answer support questions.
- 1
Choose quantities
The buyer picks how many of each ticket type — each shows a “From {price}” label.
- 2
Place tickets on seats
The map opens; they tap seats. Chips track progress; price comes from the matrix per zone.
- 3
Pay & receive tickets
Each ticket is issued with its seat label (like “A-12”) printed on it.
Holds: how double-booking is prevented
| Moment | What happens |
|---|---|
| During selection | A ~10-minute hold reserves the seat. |
| While paying | The hold extends to ~30 minutes. |
| Order confirmed | The hold becomes a real ticket. |
| Checkout abandoned | The hold expires and the seat returns to the pool. |
Tip
A seat can briefly look unavailable even though no one has paid — that’s a live hold, and it frees up within minutes if the other buyer doesn’t finish.
