Public vs unlisted events
Control who can find your event — list it on your storefront or share it only by direct link.
Every published event has a visibility setting that controls how people find it.
| Public | Unlisted | |
|---|---|---|
| Shown on storefront | Yes | No |
| Direct link works | Yes | Yes |
| Checkout available | Yes | Yes |
| Appears in your dashboard | Yes | Yes |
When to use unlisted
- Private gatherings — company parties, member-only shows.
- Presales — share with your list before the public announcement.
- Test runs — check the full buying experience without exposing the event.
Heads up
Unlisted is not security. Anyone with the link can open and buy, and links get forwarded. For real access control, distribute the link carefully and keep quantities tight.
