Selling tickets at the door with POS

Take walk-up sales on-site with a paired device — orders and attendees sync with the rest of your event.

Once your devices are paired, POS lets your team sell tickets to walk-up customers. Those sales behave just like online orders behind the scenes.

  1. 1

    Choose event & tickets

Select the event and the ticket type(s) the customer wants.

  2. 2

    Confirm quantity

    Set how many.

  3. 3

    Take payment

Process the payment on the device.

  4. 4

    Issue the ticket

The customer gets their ticket; the order is recorded immediately.

Good to know

POS orders are first-class orders — they appear in Orders, show up in Attendees, and are included in analytics. No separate reconciliation.

Tips for a smooth box office

  • Pre-select the event on each device so staff aren’t hunting mid-queue.
  • Keep ticket types simple for the door — a couple of clear options move the line faster.
  • Test payment before opening.
  • Assign roles — some selling, some scanning — so entry doesn’t bottleneck.
