The Verimly service fee

What the Verimly service fee is, how it appears, and how to think about it when pricing tickets.

Verimly charges a service fee on ticket sales — the platform’s fee for providing checkout, ticketing, payouts and the tools around your events.

Pricing your tickets with the fee in mind

  1. 1

    Absorb it

Set the round number you want buyers to see and treat the fee as a cost of doing business.

  2. 2

    Build it in

Set your price slightly higher so your net after the fee lands where you need it.

Tip

Consumer events often prefer clean round buyer-facing prices; tighter-margin events build the fee into the price. Decide deliberately rather than being surprised at payout time.

Good to know

When you refund an order, keep the fee in mind and state your refund policy clearly. Free tickets (price 0) generate no ticket revenue, so a sales-based fee has nothing to apply to.
