Ticket types are the options buyers pick from at checkout — Early Bird, Regular, VIP, Student. Each type has its own price, quantity and rules.

Good to know

For existing events, manage types on the event dashboard’s Tickets page — editable cards with live sold counts and revenue, saved with the sticky save bar.

What you set on each type

SettingWhat it does
NameShown to buyers — keep it self-explanatory.
PriceThe amount the buyer pays. Use 0 for free tickets.
QuantityHow many can ever be sold. Sold out when reached.
Max per orderCap on how many one buyer grabs in a single order.

Typical setups

  1. 1

    Tiered pricing

Early Bird (limited, lower) → Regular → optional Last Minute. Demand rolls up as tiers sell out.

  2. 2

    Access levels

General Admission and VIP as separate types, each with its own quantity.

  3. 3

    Free + paid mix

A free type (price 0) can coexist with paid ones — good for guest lists or optional support tickets.

Tip

On seated events, a type doesn’t have a single price — it depends on the seat zone, set in the pricing matrix.
